In a journalistic career spanning almost four decades, Tony Maddox has seen it all. From co-ordinating news gathering operations on the front lines of the world’s war zones as the head of CNN International, to standing on the front lines of the UK’s miners’ strike as a fresh faced radio reporter, he has faced countless diverse challenges.

Tony was introduced to Secure Forests by Liz Waugh and has provided his unique insights and knowledge to help us shape our outward facing messaging and in the future will help us develop close links and partnerships with Corporate groups who want to have meaningful and secure investments in nature security. Tony will help us with our corporate and engagement to reach out to blue chip companies to invest as part of their ESG policy and carbon offset programs.
